Sunset connection in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park

LOGOS Property were looking for a natural and enriching way to connect their team on a deeper level - outside of their everyday office environment.

Led by the team at Gone Bush, an afternoon bush walking adventure was organised for the team in the incredible Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, just 1 hour north of Sydney.

LOGOS team exploring the varied terrain of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park

Kicking off with a delicious bush picnic and briefing on the Park's rich heritage and history, the team embarked on their afternoon walk of approximately 4.5km - which was abundant in connection, enjoyment, epic views over Broken Bay and Pittwater and loads of cultural heritage and wildlife - including spotting a pair of endangered Glossy Black Cockatoos and a Swamp Wallaby.

Half-way along the journey, while sitting in a circle at a secluded beach, team leader Sean Singh cracked open some key conversations to help the group refocus and move forward with their day to day inspired and reconnected. It was certainly a special setting for a team meeting!

As the sunset, the walk led uphill, away from the water and back onto the ridge, enabling the team to bask in the afternoon's golden sunlight and respectfully view a vast platform of Aboriginal engravings at the perfect time of day before making it back to the trail head for afternoon tea.

The experience was brief (just 3 hours!), the journey short and sweet and yet it provided immense connection and enjoyment to the group - who wouldn't usually have the opportunity to connect in such a special place such as Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

Thank you so so much again - that was the perfect experience! Everyone absolutely loved it, we all had the best day, the guys haven’t stopped talking about it since! Elyse Christopher - LOGOS Group

That was really enjoyable and I'll be recommending it to my colleagues and other teams in the business! Sean Singh - LOGOS Group
